About Habethos

Philosophy, mission and the person behind Habethos

Mission

Habethos is born from the fusion of habits and Ethos (moral character in Greek philosophy). The path to a fulfillling life begins with small daily steps.

Philosophy

Inspired by stoicism, this project holds that what happens cannot always be controlled, but the response can. Each micro-habit is a conscious decision to improve.

Memento mori — Remember that you will die. Not as a threat, but as an invitation to live with purpose.

About me

Juan Lagos R., creator of Habethos

I am Juan Lagos R., from Talca, Chile. For years I have worked across programming, electronics, automation, technical support and installations, combining hands-on field work with the development of software and technical solutions that can be implemented realistically.

Habethos is a personal project: a single person designs, develops and maintains it. The approach is the same one I bring to every proposal: start with something useful, well built and affordable, and expand it when it truly makes sense.

Habethos = Habits + Ethos

Ethos (🏛) — moral character, custom, habit.
Habethos — the daily practice of building virtuous character through micro-habits.
