Being heard isn't about force, but about air, posture and resonance.
Micro-habits to get started
Small actions of a few minutes to start this habit:
Resonance hum
With lips together, hold an 'mmm' for ten seconds seeking a buzz in your cheekbones.
Then open into a vowel keeping that same sensation.
2 minAim at the back of the room
Pick a distant point and direct your voice there, changing intention rather than force.
You hear the difference immediately, without raising volume.
2 minCount on one breath
Inhale without lifting your shoulders and count aloud at steady volume as far as you get.
Note the number: it rises within weeks, and with it your ability to sustain sentences.
